As usual when I make a bold prediction, the Yankees made me look like an idiot. The door swings both ways, sometimes when I have awful feelings about a game, they end up playing well over their heads. Phil Hughes was by no means sharp yesterday, failing to pitch four complete innings and coughing up five runs, including his first two homeruns of the season. This past Friday (it’s always on the last Friday of the month) I attended my first Indy Christian Geeks lunch, where I was invited a couple of weeks ago by Dr. Thomas Ho from IUPUI’s Computer Information Department (where I’m currently a half-time student). I've already blogged about some of the troubles of Ottawa's mayor. But I have to post about what could most charitably be described as an incredibly ill-advised attempt at humour by Mayor Larry O'Brien today. O'Brien, for those of you not familiar with Ottawa civic politics, stands accused of two criminal offences related to allegations against him. It's been alleged that O'Brien met with another mayoral candidate, Terry Kilrea, and offered him both a payout of his campaign expenses and assista
